A LIVING-LEARNING ENVIRONMENT THAT PUTS care first
The holidays are a special seasonal experience, rich in family and cultural traditions and a source of great joy for many.
Residential cottages at WGA serve as a home-away-from-home while youth learn behaviors, boundaries and coping skills that foster healthier relationships. Please join us in brightening the holidays for our youth receiving out-of-home services. Your donation will help to reinforce a sense of belonging and connection; to brighten the life of a child who cannot go home out of concern for safety or whose family is unable to send a gift; to introduce and reinforce positive memories for youth to build on. Gifts are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Thank you for your generosity!
Did you know that most young people between the ages of 12-17 report not having used alcohol, nicotine or illicit drugs in their lifetime (according to the 2024 National Survey on Drug Use and Health)? That’s encouraging news!! But what about the teens who do use? Why are some youth more prone to using than others? Learn more here.
Notice is hereby given that WGA is soliciting bids for a project to improve safety and security at certain locations on campus. An informational session set for 03.20.25 at 10AM at WGA; deadline to submit bid is 04.04.25 by 2:00 PM. Click here for more information.
