Congratulations to Jenje Roberts, an Assistant Cottage Manager at The William George Agency for Children’s Services (WGA), for receiving the Jim Purcell Excellence Award on May 9, 2025. The award is given to staff of Council of Family and Child Caring Agencies (COFCCA) member agencies who demonstrate excellence in their jobs in honor of former COFCCA President and CEO, Jim Purcell.
Since joining The William George Agency in 2018, Jenje has been a consistent and dedicated presence in the Massachusetts Cottage Program. She worked her way up from Youth Care Specialist to Shift Leader and, most recently, to Assistant Cottage Manager—a testament to her leadership and impact.
Jenje’s commitment is evident in her unwavering dedication to maintaining a structured, therapeutic environment. She is known for her direct and honest communication style, which is particularly effective in working with emotionally distressed youth. Residents trust her because she sets clear expectations while providing the support they need to succeed.
