Referrals are accepted for children with behavioral and emotional problems.  Children designated as abused, neglected, emotionally disturbed, voluntary PINS and JDs are accepted.  However, it is imperative that they can function in an open setting.  Referrals may be made by Departments of Social Services and Probation and the Office of Children and Family Services.  Private referrals and CSE placement are also accepted. Children who have a repetitive history of fire setting or chronic assaultive behavior, and children who are seriously addicted substance abusers, or intellectually limited (below 70 IQ) will not be accepted for services.  All children are considered for admission without regard to race, ethnic origin, or religious faith.
